Post subject: AKWA Cave, Still A "Juicy" Lead  PostPosted: Jul 02, 2004 - 03:50 AM

Many of the GVKS regulars will remember the lead we found and subsequently dubbed AKWA (a hick version of Aqua) for the copious amounts of water involved. A wet cave in Germany Valley is truly a rare thing (as far as most people know). Some interesting work was done to open this lead, and a nice looking dig remains for he who brings a hammer drill. Some day we'll have to go back there. But until then we all can enjoy some of the photos that were taken during the original dig.
